Design and Construction of the Soft Foundation Reinforcement Work in Zhuhai Aviation Industry Park Seawall Project
The foundation of Zhuhai Aviation Industry Park Seawall is thick layer silt soft soil structure with low bearing capacity.In the design of the seawall,various soft foundation reinforcement measures are comprehensively considered such as the self-weight preloading method combined with drainage wells,cement mixing pile composite foundation,rein-forced geotextile method,and back pressure method.With the adoption of these foundation treatment methods,and the reasonable solution of practical issues in the construction process,the design scheme is verified and the seawall stability and foundation settlement issues in newly built embankments on soft soil foundation are successfully solved.It can be useful reference for similar seawall construction projects.
