A Cleaning and Inspection Device for the Stator Inner Cavity and Ends in Vertical Shaft Hydro-turbine Generators
During the B-level maintenance of a vertical shaft hydro-turbine generator,it is necessary to remove a pair of magnetic poles and manually clean and inspect the ends of the stator windings and the stator ventilation slots.Conven-tionally,manual cleaning is conducted with electrically conductive cleaning agent,with the focus on inspecting the stator slot opening and inner cavity.However,this approach is of various problems such as low work efficiency,negative influ-ence of the cleaning agents to the respiratory health of the operators,and insufficient inspection due to limited work space.Thus,an automatic cleaning device is developed.The introduction of the device reduces the labor intensity of the operators,shortens the cleaning and inspection time,and improves the maintenance efficiency.
