Mechanism Analysis and Risk Assessment of Landslides in Yuejin Reseervoir
An in-depth analysis is carried out on the causes of the landslides occurred in front of the management build-ing of Yuejin Reservoir.The stability status and potential landslide risks of the existing landslide body are further evalua-ted comprehensively.The results show that the internal causes of the landslide mainly include the combination of weak rock and soil and the structural characteristics of the slope.Rain water infiltration and erosion due to continuous intensive rainfall are important inducement for slope deformation and landslide.The stability analysis of the slope shows that the landslide body is still in unstable states in both natural and saturated conditions with further development possibility.Then,corresponding treatment measures are proposed.It can be useful reference for the treatment of similar landslides.
