A Novel Unit Axis Adjustment Technique for Hydro-turbine Generator Units and Practical Application
Axis adjustment is an important process in the maintenance of hydro-turbine generator units,which greatly af-fects the safe and stable operation of the units after reinstallation.The traditional axis adjustment process is complex and difficult to grasp,and greatly influenced by experience,which makes the maintenance work difficult and inefficient.Thus,a coordinate analysis method is proposed.The least-square fitting curve is used to determine the authenticity of the turning gear data.Considering the swinging between axis segmentations,a fast calculation method is proposed to get the thickness of the scarping pads at the mirror plate and the flange,and the maximum swinging direction.The proposed method is simpler,more convenient and easier to understand than the traditional method,which is especially beneficial for operators to learn.
