Renovation of the Connecting Rod Structure in Water Guiding Mechanism of Hydro-turbines
The guide vane connecting rod is the transmission structure of the water guiding mechanism, which transmits the operating torque of the controlling ring to the guide vane arm and controls the opening of the guide vane.By adjusting the length of the connecting rod,the dimensional errors of the components of the water guiding mechanism can be com-pensated,so that the opening of all guide vanes tends to be even. Also,it can adjust the vertical clearance of the guide vanes within a certain range to prevent creeping of the unit. The guide vane connecting rod structure is of various forms such as fork head transmission, ear handle transmission, and connecting plate eccentric pin transmission.Different trans-mission forms are suitable for different units.Choosing a suitable transmission structure form can effectively reduce the vibration, improve the efficiency, and enhance the safety.
