On the Content and Method of Cleaning and Inspection of the Isolated-phase Enclosed Busbar in Hydropower Plants
Isolated-phase enclosed busbar is of an important role in the high current transmission of the lead out circuit and the auxiliary branch circuit of generators of 50 MW and above. In power generation production, accidents occurred in busbar are mostly caused by seemingly insignificant factors such as dust, impurities and insulation defects. To ensure the safe and stable operation of the transmission circuit of the units, comprehensive cleaning and inspection of the busbar has become one of the key tasks.Based on the busbar maintenance experience for 30 years in Geheyan Hydropower Plant, the inspection content and cleaning method for each component of the busbar are introduced in detail. It can be useful reference for power plants that adopt isolated-phase enclosed busbar.
