Renovation of the Kaplan Hydro-turbine Governing System in Gutianxi Hydropower Plant
The renovation of the Kaplan hydro-turbine governing system in Gutianxi Hydropower Plant is introduced.The composition and control of the WZT-100 Kaplan Hydro-turbine governing system is introduced firstly.Based on the rela-tionship between the relay stroke,the guide vane opening and the blade angle,the guide vane opening and the blade an-gle are accurately calculated.The characteristic curve of the hydro-turbine is then used to improve the control perform-ance and safety.The renovated system has been operated stably for more than 2 years.Practice shows that the power reg-ulation performance,efficiency and operation stability of the unit are all improved after the renovation.
