Construction and Application of a Long-distance Large-flow Inverted Siphon Temporary Work with Complex Topography
During the demolition and reconstruction of Songjiazui Aqueduct,a temporary inverted siphon is constructed to ensure the water supply to downstream areas.Considering the characteristics of the inverted siphon temporary work,such as complex topography,long distance,large water diversion flow,and multiple structure crossing,the layout,con-struction,main technical measures and water supply operation situation of the project are analyzed.Engineering practice shows that the construction of the inverted siphon temporary work meets the actual situation,with significant application benefits and expected performance.
