Analysis on Abnormal Vibration of the Lifting Mechanism of a Gantry Crane
Abnormal vibration is observed in the lifting mechanism of a gantry crane.With inspections on the mechanical transmission structures and the electrical control system,it is found that the main causes of the vibration includes incom-plete matching of the motor and the frequency convertor,insufficient stiffness of the plum-shaped flexible coupling,and incorrect installation of the encoder.Treatment measures are then proposed correspondingly.It can be useful reference for the treatment of similar faults of equipment of the same type.
