Drainage Calculation for the Foundation Pit of the Second Stage Cofferdam in Nianpanshan Water Conservancy Project
The drainage volume of foundation pits in water conservancy and hydropower projects affects the selection,configuration and layout of pumping equipment.Regarding the drainage problem of the foundation pit of the second stage dry-season cofferdam in Nianpanshan Water Conservancy Project,the initial and regular drainage volumes are calculated and analyzed,and a pump selection and main pipe layout scheme is proposed.Practice shows that the drainage capacity of the selected pump meets the construction requirements.The research provides useful reference for the drainage calcu-lation and construction of foundation pits in similar projects.
