Research on High-quality Development of International Sports Events Empowered by Digital Technology
Digital technology-enabled international sports events is an important support for adhering to the strategy of win-win coop-eration and the construction of a strong sports nation,and is a powerful component of great power diplomacy with Chinese characteris-tics.Comprehensively using literature,case study and other research methods,the study starts from the perspective of digital technolo-gy empowerment,takes the sports construction of Hangzhou Asian Games as an entry point,and analyzes the status quo,challenges and optimization path of digital sports construction.The study concludes that the application of digital technology-enabled international sports event development is reflected in three aspects:organizing,participating and watching,and it faces challenges such as techni-cally-assisted disputes,global data privacy and security,and immaturity of communication ecology.In this regard,future event devel-opment should fully optimize data,arithmetic and algorithms,integrate anonymization,permission control and blockchain technology,and disseminate events in a multi-dimensional and comprehensive way.
