Analysis of Offensive and Defensive Abilities of the Top Eight Teams in the 19th Men's Basketball World Cup
Objective To understand the offensive and defensive characteristics of present-day world basketball,to clarify the competi-tive situation of the world basketball world,and to provide reference for strengthening the competitiveness of the Chinese men's basket-ball team on the world stage.Methods The offensive and defensive abilities of the top eight teams in the 19th Men's Basketball World Cup were analyzed by using the literature method,rank sum ratio comprehensive evaluation method,mathematical statistics method and video observation method.Results 1)The top 8 teams can be classified into 5 grades according to the size of the RSR value of of-fensive and defensive abilities.2)Among the top 8 teams,Canada has the strongest offensive ability(0.746),Serbia has the strongest defensive ability(0.867),and the teams with the strongest combined offensive and defensive abilities are the United States and Serbia(0.698).3)The top 8 teams,while displaying their respective tactical strategies of offense and defense,have also jointly promoted the development and progress of world basketball.Conclusion Strengthen technical and tactical training,enhance defensive awareness,and arrange physical training scientifically.Refine youth training concepts and develop core players.Constructing offensive and defensive systems and summarizing offensive and defensive strategies in line with their own.Improve the competitive level of the domestic league and standardize the referee.Accumulate competition experience and exchange with world's strongest teams.
