摘要
VPLS是一种使用三层MPLS IP网络来模拟二层以太网交换的服务.它可提供点对多点的通信服务,可以使客户的多个分支如同在同个局域网中互联一样.文章简述了 VPLS技术的原理和特点,以及 VPLS业务的实现方式和在企业网络中的应用.
Abstract
VPLS is a service that uses a 3-layer MPLS IP network to simulate 2-layer Ethernet switching.It can provide point-to-point communication services,allowing multiple branches of customers to be interconnected as if they were in the same local area network.This paper brief-ly describes the principle and characteristics of VPLS technology,as well as the implementation of VPLS service and its application in Metropolitan area network.
