新一代脉冲多普勒天气雷达信号处理相关设计

随着气象雷达技术的快速发展,对信号处理相关技术提出了更高的要求.针对某型脉冲多普勒天气雷达信号处理的技术要求,对信号处理/监控分系统中的NDSP板进行了相关设计.NDSP板采用DSP和FPGA作为主要功能芯片,集成了光纤接口、网络接口、静态随机存取存储器、同步动态随机存取存储器等.在NDSP板中,实现了滤波、数字视频积分处理、脉冲对处理、快速傅立叶变换、解速度模糊、解距离模糊、大动态拼接、信号处理自检等功能.通过在脉冲多普勒天气雷达整机上进行测试和连续运行,NDSP板能满足信号处理相关技术指标要求,并具有集成度高、性能稳定、故障率低等特点.
Design of Signal Processing Correlation for the New Generation Pulse Doppler Weather Radar
With the rapid development of weather radar technology,higher requirements are put forward for signal processing related technologies.In response to the technical requirements for singal processing of a certain type of pulse Doppler weather radar,the NDSP board in the signal processing and monitoring subsystem has been designed accordingly.The NDSP board adoptsDSP and FPGA as the main functional chips,integrating fiber optic interfaces,network inter-faces,SRAM,SDRAM etc.In the NDSP board,functions such as filtering,DVIP,PPP,FFT,ve-locity ambiguity resolving,range ambiguity resolving,large dynamic splicing,and signal process-ing self inspection have been implemented.Through testing and continuous operation on the en-tire pulse Doppler weather radar,the NDSP board can meet requirements of signal processing related technical indicators,and has characteristics such as high integration,stable performance,and low failure rate.
