Research on social media rumor detection based on multimodal information fusion
Social media is a very important channel for information dissemination in today's soci-ety.However,due to the lack of effective regulatory mechanism,false information,rumors and inaccurate news often appear on social media.To address this problem,we propose a multimodal-based social media rumor detection method.The method fuses two different modal information of image and text to improve the accuracy and reliability of detection.In our experiments,we use a large number of social media datasets for testing,and the results show that our method can effectively detect rumor information in social media.
