In order to realize data communications between different embedded systems,a ether-net switch circuit based on PowerPC and ethernet switch chip is designed and realized.The paper describes the hardware circuit structure,operational principle and programming of software de-tailed.The circuit uses VSC7428 as the core switch chip,realizes the ethernet switch between four PC8640 processors.The experiment results show that the circuit has the advantages of sta-ble performance,can realize data communications between different embedded systems,and meets the requirements of design..
