智慧校园中面向边缘AI集群的异构优化方法研究

随着边缘计算和人工智能AI技术的兴起,基于云计算集群的物联网解决方案逐渐显露出短板,而基于边缘计算集群的物联网解决方案因其体积小、推理延迟小、集群部署灵活等特点,越来越受到研究者的青睐.然而目前的大多数研究都把焦点放在单个AI任务在单个边缘终端的计算效率,计算效率较低下,因此该文应用高校已有的软硬件资源,搭建一组部署了多种类型推理任务的边缘设备集群,对边缘异构解决方案进行研究,提出了智慧校园中面向边缘AI集群的异构优化方法——整数线性规划及其求解方法——平面分割定界法,来解决边缘异构集群任务调度不合理造成资源浪费的现状,为智慧校园建设打下坚实的基础.
Research on Heterogeneous Optimization Methods for Edge Al Clusters in Smart Campus
With the rise of edge computing and artificial intelligence(AI)technology,the iot so-lutions based on cloud computing cluster have gradually revealed shortcomings.The iot solutions based on edge computing cluster are more and more favored by researchers because of their small size,small inference delay,and flexible cluster deployment.However,most of the current re-search focuses on the computing efficiency of a single AI task in a single edge terminal,which is low.Therefore,this paper applies the existing software and hardware resources of colleges and universities to build a group of edge device clusters that deploy multiple types of reasoning tasks,and studies the edge heterogeneous solutions.This paper proposes a heterogeneous optimi-zation method for edge AI clusters in smart campus,integer linear programming and its solution method,plane division and bound method,to solve the current situation of resource waste caused by unreasonable task scheduling of edge heterogeneous clusters,and lay a solid foundation for the construction of smart campus.
