A Method Based on Relay for Low Cost 4G Network Coverage Enhancement
Seamless coverage is one of the important characteristics of wireless mobile communi-cation networks.For sparsely populated areas,such as the sea,deserts and other scenarios,ultra long wireless communication coverage is required.However,simply setting up base stations to meet such ultra long coverage will increase the cost of base station construction for operators.This paper analyzes and compares coverage enhancement deployment methods for 4G networks,and proposes a low cost coverage enhancement method based on Relay.Its core idea is to deploy 4G network relay nodes based on the coverage range requirements,and determine the minimum number of uplink subframcs for wireless communication between network base stations and re-lay nodes.At the same time,combined with the 4G wireless mobile communication system mode,optional relay deployment types and configurations are determined to achieve low-cost and high quality 4G network enhanced coverage.
