Feasibility Study on E-Band Subframe Ratio Modification
The uplink and downlink spectra of FDD cells are symmetrical, and uplink sensing is usually not the primary issue. However, the mainstream uplink and downlink subframe ratio in TDD cells is 1:3,which makes uplink easy to become a bottleneck. The article focuses on the a-nalysis of the E-band and evaluates the feasibility of modifying the downlink subframe ratio to 2:2 across the entire network.Through feasibility analysis,we found that for high load scenarios with insufficient upstream capacity, local subframe ratio modifications can be made to better a-dapt to the constantly changing upstream and downstream data volume in 5G NR networks by adjusting sub frame/slot ratio.Under the premise of interference suppression, its transmission performance gain is relatively better than the semi static TDD configuration.
