OPTIMIZATION OF PELLET PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR HYDROGEN-BASED SHAFT FURNACES
High-quality pellets for shaft furnace are the current research hotspots,and the optimal control of the temperature of each part of the grate-rotary kiln-annular cooler in the rotary kiln pellet production line is an important link to improve the quality level of pellets.The optimization process of grate-rotary kiln-annular cooler equipment and the optimization measures of pelletizing process were introduced.In the transformation of the pelletizing process,the angle of the ball-making disc is uniformly adjusted to 46°,the rotation speed of the rotary scraper is adjusted to 10 r/min,the distance between the rotary scraper and the bottom lining is adjusted to 30~40 mm,the blanking point of the pelletizing disc extends 100 mm to the disc compared with the previous one,and the distance from the blanking point of the small belt to the side plate reaches 43 cm,the final pellet formation effect was significantly improved,compared with the production of pellets before and after the process improvement,the reduction performance was improved,the reduction expansion and low temperature reduction pulverization index were improved,the reduction performance was improved,and the reduction expansion rate of No.1 pellet was reduced from12.34%to7.82%,and the low temperature reduction pulverization index was significantly improved,and LTD+6.3 was increased by about 20%.At the same time,the optimization of the pelletizing process provides help for high-quality iron concentrate pellets for hydrogen-based shaft furnaces in China.
