OPTIMIZATION OF CONVEYING RHYTHM OF CONTINUOUS CASTING BILLET IN DIRECT ROLLING
Based on the queuing theory in operational research,a continuous casting billet queuing model in billet direct rolling system was established,and the billet-bar direct rolling system of long product division of HBIS Group Tangsteel was analyzed and optimized,which provided a theoretical basis for enterprise production management.The results show that when the drawing speed of continuous casting machine is 3.8 m/min and the size of continuous casting billet is 11.9 m,the rolling rhythm of Φ 12 mm hot rolled ribbed bar can only be met by 4-flow production,while the rolling rhythm of all specifications can be met by 5-flow production.When the drawing speed is constant,the maximum waiting time of the billet increases with the increase of the size,but the average waiting time of the billet is generally changed by adjusting the drawing speed,rather than by adjusting the size of the billet.During the conveying process of continuous casting billet,the time from air cooling to the lowest rolling temperature should be less than the maximum waiting time of continuous casting billet,and the direct rolling rate of billet in the direct rolling production line is the highest.According to the principle of equal steel flow between casting and rolling,the production should be organized with less flow number,high drawing speed and short length,so as to make the production capacity match between casting and rolling,reduce the temperature difference between the head and the tail of the casting billet and reduce the risk of production accidents.The main problems of billet direct rolling system are three core problems,such as cutting sequence of billet,matching of steel-rolling rhythm and maximum waiting time of billet.
