Quality is the survival of iron and steel enterprises,the overall improvement of product quality,reduce production costs,is an important measure for sustainable development of enterprises.For high-grade galvanized automobile sheet,surface quality is more strict,and quality control is the most important in the production of automobile sheet.High-grade automobile sheet after continuous retreat or galvanizing heat treatment need to be cut edge treatment to ensure that the strip to meet the customer's size requirements,good edge cutting quality is the customer's guarantee of stable use.It is necessary to analyze and deal with the points which are easy to cause the defects,and to make a series of measures to prevent and control the defects,to ensure the stability of product quality.The common side-cutting defects are mainly caused by the bad technological parameters of disc shear and the poor effect of deburring roller.In order to improve the cutting edge quality and operation stability of the disc,the causes of bright printing and scratch defects in the cutting process were analyzed and improved,by optimizing the cutting edge parameters,enhancing the assembling precision of the cutting edge,matching the cutting edge with 5 mm chamfer right-angle up-down ring of 310,318mm Shaw's 80 degrees,choosing the deburring roller with the diameter of 1 000 mm,etc.,the edge quality of the automobile sheet was significantly improved,and the bad trimming rate was reduced to less than 0.5％.
