APPLICATION OF HYDROCYCLONE IN TAILINGS FILLING OF ZHONGGUAN IRON MINE
Zhongguan Iron Mine is an underground mine,and the mining method is stage open pit followed by filling mining.The original filling process used full tailings filling,but due to the large proportion of fine-grained materials in the tailings,it affects the strength of the filling body.In order to improve the strength of the filling body,the amount of filling material used can only be increased,resulting in an increase in the cost of filling operations.In order to improve the strength of the filling body,ensure the safety of"two-step mining",and reduce the filling cost,the filling workshop of Zhongguan Iron Mine added an FX250-GX-B × 6 cyclone group at the sand inlet of the vertical sand bin on the basis of the original process flow to classify the tailings,improve the particle size of the materials entering the filling sand bin,and optimize the filling process.The debugging results show that high yield and coarse particle size bottom flow tailings can be obtained when the feeding pressure of the cyclone is 0.09 MPa.Under the feeding pressure of 0.09 MPa,the strength of the filling body can be improved by changing three process indicators:filling slurry concentration(optimal 58%),ash sand ratio(optimal 1∶4),and filling material ratio(optimal slag micro powder∶excitation powder=55∶45).The successful application of this equipment provides a feasible method to improve the strength of the filling body and reduce the consumption of filling materials by classifying tailings and increasing the bottom flow particle size,which has promotional significance in mining production.
