PRACTICE OF HIGH RATIO PELLET BLAST FURNACE SMELTING
In order to actively cope with the increasingly severe market competition and environmental pressure,domestic steel enterprises have to seek new breakthroughs,and have successively carried out research and practice on high proportion pellet blast furnace smelting to reduce dependence on sintered ore and seek sustainable development space.This article introduces how the ironmaking system in HBIS Group Tangsteel Compang New Area fully leverages its latecomer advantages,strictly implementing the low-carbon emission reduction concept of"process modernization and green production"from project planning,process design to production organization.It has built the first set of the largest scale belt type roasting machine oxidation pellet production line in China,and fully considered its own raw material and fuel conditions and the characteristics of high proportion pellet smelting at the beginning of blast furnace design.The design optimization has been carried out on the furnace body,waist,cylinder and other parts of the furnace type.At the same time,by adopting a series of measures such as optimizing and adjusting the loading system,air supply system,slag making system,thermal system,and optimizing the discharge sequence,a set of blast furnace ironmaking operation technology suitable for high proportion pellet smelting conditions has been formed,effectively improving the working condition of the furnace hearth and enhancing the adaptability to furnace conditions.In the second half of 2022,the average fuel ratio of Tangshan Iron and Steel's blast furnace was 513.2 kg/t,the coke ratio was 374.2 kg/t,and the utilization coefficient of the blast furnace reached 2.92t/(m3·d),achieving long-term stable and smooth operation of the blast furnace under high proportion pellet smelting.The main technical and economic indicators of the blast furnace continued to improve.
