LONG EFFECT TECHNOLOGY OF BOTTOM BLOWING IN 200 t CONVERTER
This article studied the influence of bottom blowing components,bottom blowing arrangement,and bottom blowing flow rate on the bottom blowing effect and service life of the converter,combined with the production practice of a 200 t converter.Through practical research,double annular gap bottom blowing elements was selected rather than the cluster type for the converter.The bottom blowing arrangement is changed from single circle arrangement to double diameter double circle arrangement.At the same time,through numerical simulation,the mixing time and bottom blowing intensity control are optimized,and the bottom blowing effect and life are greatly improved.After a series of optimizations,when the converter age is 8 848 heats,the bottom blowing life is basically synchronized with the furnace age.The average carbon-oxygen product in the entire furnace is 0.001 6,which is 0.000 5 lower than before optimization.The monthly average end point oxygen for all heats decreased from 457 × 10-6to 378 × 10-6,with a decrease of 79 × 10-6.The dephosphorization rate of converter molten iron has increased from an average of 86.9%to 88.7%.And significant breakthroughs have been made in the smelting of low phosphorus steel.The endpoint of the converter has reached the extreme dephosphorization effect of trace P.The endpoint P of the low phosphorus steel is stably controlled below 20 × 10-6,with an average of 11 × 10-6 and a minimum of 4 × 10-6,and the average reduction is 30 × 10-6 compared with before,with a dephosphorization rate of over 99%.It provides conditions for the smelting of very low phosphorus clean steel and realizes a new breakthrough in variety production.
