EFFECT OF CONTINUOUS CASTING SOFT REDUCTION ON THE COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE OF WELDED BOTTLE STEEL
Taking HP295 welded bottle steel as the research object, the production tracking test was carried out to solve the problems of central segregation in the casting process of welded bottle steel and the abnormal regional organization of rolled products. It was found that there was a corresponding relationship between the inclusion and branded structure of rolled products and the central segregation position of the casting billet. The genetic influence of center segregation on the microstructure and inclusion distribution of rolled products was discussed.By adjusting the reduction amount, reduction rate and reduction position nodes,a new light reduction process model for continuous casting of welded bottle steel was designed.According to the process comparison test, combined with the detection methods of low power analysis,in-situ analysis and metallographic analysis,it was found that the central segregation, central porosity and triangle cracks of continuous casting billet were less than 0.5,the segregation of Mn and S elements were significantly reduced, and the corresponding branded structure and inclusions of coil products were also significantly improved. Finally,it is confirmed that the rational soft reduction process of continuous casting can effectively improve the segregation of central components of the casting billet of HP295 welded bottle steel, and reduce the problems of branded structure and inclusion segregation after rolling. At the same time, the optimized soft reduction process has been popularized and applied to welded bottle series steel through the digital model scheme, and the batch and stable production has been realized.
