MECHANICAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF COLOR COATED SHEET COATING
The mechanical properties of two different color coated sheet coatings were tested using nano-indentation experimental technology, and the effects of indentation depth(300~100 nm)and loading rate(50~500 nm/s)on the viscoelasticity of the coatings were systematically studied. The results showed that the elastic moduli of the two color coated sheets were 5.16 GPa and 2.92 GPa,respectively, and the hardness was 0.245 GPa and 0.094 GPa,respectively. They exhibited different resistance to plastic deformation and flexibility. The nano-indentation method can quantitatively characterize the hardness, elastic modulus, and relaxation performance of color coated sheet coatings, and the characterization results are consistent with the pencil hardness and bending performance test results. The color coated sheet coating exhibits significant stress relaxation behavior. As the depth of compression or loading rate increases, the compression load increases, and the relaxation amount and relaxation rate increase. The relaxation modulus of the coating decreases exponentially with the extension of relaxation time. The relaxation modulus of the coating decreases with increasing loading speed, but the effect of compression depth is relatively small. In addition,Abaqus viscoelastic constitutive models for two coating materials were established based on the generalized Maxwell model, and relaxation parameters for three Prony series expressions were determined. The research results have guiding significance for the accurate modeling and material selection of the color coated plate processing and forming process.
