DEVELOPMENT OF THREE SLITTING ROLLING PROCESS FOR 16 mm HOT ROLLED REBARS
According to the product specification production plan of bar production line two after the transformation and upgrading of Zhangxuan Technology, with the production capacity of full specification hot-rolled rebars ranging from 12 to 40 mm,while reducing spare rolling rolls, lowering the investment in process development costs, and reducing the number of rolling mill replacements when changing sizes and specifications to achieve process stability and ensure that the production line capacity level does not decrease, the three slitting rolling process has been selected for the newly added hot-rolled rebars with a diameter of 16 mm.The new process maximizes the sharing of passes, achieving the sharing of passes for 10 stands of rough and medium rolling mills and all passes for the Φ 12 mm four slitting rolling mill.To ensure the smooth separation of the three parallel rolled pieces at the slitting guide and uniform material shape of the three lines, the groove width of the passes for the K3 stand is 66.73 mm,and the cutting strip thickness is 0.8 mm.The rolled pieces of K2 finishing rolling need to be twisted 90° to enter the inlet guide of K1,and the K2 outlet twist guide adopts a modular design that can quickly achieve angle adjustment and guide replacement. In response to the problem of large machining and turning volume of K5 rolling mill rolls caused by unreasonable design of the roll gap during the development process, the roll gap was optimized by increasing it from 6 mm to 15 mm and reducing the groove depth by 4.5 mm.After the stable and smooth production of the Φ 16 mm three slitting process, the daily output increased by 1 000 t compared to the original two slitting process, reaching 4 000 t per day, achieving both increased product specifications and guaranteed production capacity of the bar production line two.
