RESEARCH AND OUTLOOK ON GREEN TECHNOLOGY OF ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE STEELMAKING FROM A PATENT PERSPECTIVE
Electric arc furnace steelmaking is an important mode of sustainable development in steel production,mainly using scrap steel as the main raw material.It has the characteristics of short process and green environmental protection.The"2024-2025 Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Action Plan"issued by the State Council and the"Special Action Plan for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in the Steel Industry"issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments both propose to support the development of electric furnace short process steelmaking.With the continuous advancement of energy conservation and emission reduction tasks in the steel industry,the importance of green technology is becoming increasingly prominent.This article is based on patent data from four major regions in China,the United States,Japan,and the European Patent Office in the field of green technology for electric arc furnace steelmaking.Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods,and with the help of intelligent patent value evaluation tools,it focuses on the technical layout direction of high-value patents in the field of green technology for electric arc furnace steelmaking in 10 enterprises and 1 university.Key patent technologies are interpreted from specific technical directions such as scrap preheating,dioxin treatment,solid waste resource recycling,electric arc furnace energy efficiency evaluation,and scrap crushing.On this basis,seven specific technological innovation suggestions are proposed,including scrap preheating,solid waste resource recycling,and waste heat recovery.Patent layout suggestions are also put forward from the aspects of scrap preheating continuous feeding technology,joint technology of dioxin treatment and waste heat recovery.
