Advances on pain catastrophizing in patients with rheumatoid arthritis
Pain catastrophizing is relatively common among patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA),with ap-proximately 61.8%of patients reporting high levels of pain catastrophizing,which exacerbates pain perception and reduces quality of life.This review summarizes the assessment tools for pain catastrophizing,the influencing factors of pain catastrophizing in RA patients,and the intervention strategies.It aims to provide healthcare pro-fessionals with references for selecting appropriate assessment tools,identifying the influencing factors of pain catastrophizing,and developing targeted intervention strategies,ultimately improving patients'pain perception and quality of life.
