Clinical observation of local surround acupuncture combined with ultrasound conductance drug penetration on chest wall tuberculosis
Objective To observe the efficacy of local surround acupuncture combined with ultrasound conductance drug penetration in the treatment of chest wall tuberculosis. Methods From August 2015 to August 2021,the patients were randomly assigned into a control group(n =78)and a treatment group(n = 83).All patients were managed by antituberculosis drugs combined with ultrasound conductance drug penetration(isoniazid, rifampin),and patients in the treatment group were addition-ally given local surround acupuncture. The efficacy was statistically analyzed after 2 months of treatment, aiming to compare in-flammatory indexes including serum C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)and neutrophil count(NEU),and immune indexes(T lymphocyte subsets CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+).Results The cured and markedly effective rates of the treatment group were better than those in the control group(63.8%[53/83]vs 34.6%[27/78],P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum ESR,NEU and CRP in the treatment group were significantly lower(P<0.05),only the levels of serum ESR and CRP were significantly decreased in the control group(P<0.05).However,the levels of ESR,NEU and CRP in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of T lymphocyte subsets(CD3+,CD4+ and CD8+)in the two groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),and which were significantly higher in the treatment group than the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the levels of CD4+/CD8+ between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion For chest wall tuberculosis, local surround acupuncture combined with ultrasound conductance drug penetration has a good effect, which can effectively promote the mass regression, inhibit the inflammatory reaction, improve the immune function of patients, and it is safe and reliable.
