Clinical effect of Qingre Jiedu Sanjie Recipe combined with transarterial chemoembolization on primary liver cancer of liver heat and blood stasis type
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Qingre Jiedu Sanjie Recipe combined with transarterial chemoem-bolization(TACE)on primary liver cancer(liver heat and blood stasis type).Methods Totally 80 cases with primary liver cancer(liver heat and blood stasis type)were randomly assigned into the control group(n =40)and the treatment group(n = 40).All patients were managed by TACE,and patients in the treatment group were additionally given Qingre Jiedu Sanjie Reci-pe.The treatment was performed for 8 weeks,aiming to compare the clinical efficacy,and the levels of total bilirubin(TBiL),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199)and alpha fetoprotein(AFP)between the two groups before and after treatment.The syndrome scores were assessed.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was better than that of the control group(60.0%[24/40]vs 45.0%[18/40],P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of TBiL,ALT and AST,as well as CA19-9,AFP in the two groups were significantly lower(all P<0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was more significant(all P<0.05).The syndrome scores(fatigue,liver pain,nausea and anorexia)in the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),which decreased notably in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For primary liver cancer(liver blood stasis type),Qingre Jiedu Sanjie Recipe combined with TACE can reduce the level of transaminase,promote the recovery of liver function,relieve clinical symptoms,re-duce postoperative side effects.
