Improvement of appropriate technical of traditional Chinese medicine on clinical symptoms of diabetes patients with de-ficiency of both qi and yin
Objective To explore the improvement of appropriate technical of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)on the clinical symptoms in diabetes patients with deficiency of both qi and yin. Methods A total of 82 cases of diabetes patients with deficiency of both qi and yin were randomly divided into the control group(n =41)and the observation group(n =41).All pa-tients received routine intervention, patients in the observation group additionally received intervention of TCM appropriate techni-cal,After 7 days of the intervention, the aiming was to compared TCM symptom score, blood glucose level, scores of quality of life and intervention satisfaction between groups before and after treatment. Results After intervention, the single and total scores of TCM symptoms in both group significantly decreased than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the decrease were more common in the observation group than those of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of fasting blood glucose(FPG),2-h postprandial plasma glucose(2 hPG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the group before treatment(P<0.05),but the score of quality of life was significantly higher, and the improvements in the observation group were more pronounced(P<0.05).The score of intervention satisfaction in the observation group was high-er than that of the control group(97.56%vs 78.05%,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of TCM appropriate technology intervention in diabetes patients with deficiency of both qi and yin can effectively improve their clinical symptoms and blood sugar levels, and improve their quality of life and intervention satisfaction.
