Value of Chinese medicine collapse stains combined with emotional relief intervention and visual art therapy in treating cervical cancer radiotherapy and its prevention role for radiation vaginitis
Objective To study the value of Chinese medicine collapse stains combined with emotional relief interven-tion and visual art therapy(VAT)in cervical cancer radiotherapy and its prevention role for radiation vaginitis.Methods A to-tal of 120 cases of cervical cancer radiotherapy visited in our hospital from February 2020 to October 2021 were randomly assigned into the treatment group(n =60)and the control group(n =60).All patients were managed by routine Western medicine,and those in the treatment group were additionally treated with Chinese medicine collapse stains combined with emotional relief inter-vention and VAT.Treated for 6 months,the aim was to compare Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),psychological tolerance score,psychological distress score,36-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)(inclu-ding two domains of physical and mental health:physiological function,physiological role,bodily pain,social function,vitality,emotional function,mental health,general health)scores,the incidence,onset time and severity of radiation vaginitis.Results After treatment,the scores of SAS and SDS,and the scores of psychological tolerance and psychological distress in the two groups decreased significantly than those before treatment(all P<0.05),while,the each domain scores of SF-36 scale in the two groups increased significantly(all P<0.05).The improvements were more pronounced in the treatment group than those of the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine collapse stains combined with emotional relief interven-tion and VAT in treating cervical cancer radiotherapy has important application value,which can improve their anxiety-depression status,alleviate the psychological negative,improve the quality of life,thus reduce the disease severity by decreasing and delaying the occurrence of radiation vaginitis.
