Effect of ultrasound transdermal herb delivery combined with thunder-fire moxibustion in relieving pain degree of ad-vanced lung cancer patients
Objective To analyze the effect of ultrasound transdermal herb delivery combined with thunder-fire moxi-bustion in relieving pain degree of advanced lung cancer(ALC)patients.Methods This randomised,single-blind study in-cluded 76 ALC patients admitted to the hospital from October 2020 to October 2022.They were randomized 1:1 assigned to the control group(routine intervention)or the observation group(ultrasound transdermal herb delivery combined with thunder-fire moxibustion and routine intervention).The intervention effects was statistically analyzed after 14-day treatment,the changes in pain degree,pain mediators including serum β-endorphin(β-EP),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),endothelin-1(ET-1)and substance P(SP),and cancer patients'sense of meaning in life scale(C-MiLS)score were observed.Results After intervention,the total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that of control group(94.74%[36/38]vs 73.68%[28/38],P<0.05).The pain degree in the both groups was significantly alleviate(P<0.05),the alleviate in the observation group was more pronounced than that of the control group(P<0.05).Significantly higher β-EP and significantly lower 5-HT,ET-1 and SP were detected in the both groups(P<0.05),and the improvements were more common in the ob-servation group than in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the C-MiLS score in the both groups was significantly increased(P<0.05),which was more higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ultrasound transdermal herb delivery combined with thunder-fire moxibustion in ALC patients has significant ther-apeutic effects,it can not only inhibit the expression of pain factors and reduce the degree of pain,but also furtherly promote the improvement of the patient's sense of meaning in life.
