IEffects of compound Danshen dripping pills combined with ramipril tablets on renal function,soluble P-selectin and glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with diabetic nephropathy
Objective To explore the effects of compound Danshen dripping pills(CDDP)combined with ramipril tab-lets on renal function,soluble P-selectin(sP-sel)and glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods A total of 88 DN patients were randomly assigned into treatment group(n=44)and control group(n=44).All patients were managed by ramipril tablets,and those in treatment group were additionally treated with CDDP.A 4-week treatment was performed,aiming to compare traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,renal function(blood urea ni-trogen[BUN],serum creatinine[SCr],urine protein excretion rate),glucose and lipid metabolism(2-h postprandial plasma glucose[2-hPG],fasting plasma glucose[FPG],triglycerides[TG],total cholesterol[TC]),inflammatory factors(high-sensitivity C-reactive protein[hs-CRP],sP-sel,tumor necrosis factor α[TNF-α]),incidence of adverse reactions.Re-sults After treatment,TCM symptom scores in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),which decreased nota-bly in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).BUN,SCr and urine protein excretion rate in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the decrease in the treatment group was more common than the control group(P<0.05).FPG,2 hPG,TG,TC in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the treatment group was superi-or to the control group for FPG,2 hPG,TG,TC(all P<0.05).The hs-CRP,sP-sel and TNF-α in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the decrease in the treatment group was more prevalent compared with the control group(P<0.05).The difference was not statistically significant in the incidence of adverse reactions between the treatment group and the control group(11.36%[5/44]vs 4.55%[2/44],P>0.05).Conclusion For DN patients,CDDP combined with ramipril tab-lets can effectively improve renal function,improve glucose and lipid metabolism,reduce inflammatory response and sP-sel lev-els,and with safety and effectiveness.
