Effect of Danlu capsule combined with Huangkui capsule on the recurrence rate of granulomatous lobular mastitis
Objective To observe the effect of Danlu capsule combined with Huangkui capsule on the recurrence rate of patients with granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM).Methods From the database of Professor LIU Sheng,Longhua Hospital Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,GLM patients who were cured by Danlu capsule+Huangkui capsule dur-ing the convalescence period and were followed up for greater than or equal to six months were selected.This study utilized a sin-gle-group retrospective clinical trial design.Recurrence rates within 6 months post-clinical remission were observed and ana-lyzed to evaluate the efficacy of the combined treatment regimen in reducing GLM recurrence during the recovery phase.Results The study included 51 GLM patients,aged27-53 years,with a mean duration of administration of 5.25±2.87 months and a mean follow-up of 12.47±4.60 months,and 4 relapses occurred in 51 patients.The recurrence rate was significantly lower than the target value(7.84%vs 23%,95%CI:2.17%to 18.89%)using the Clopper-Pearson confidence interval calcula-tion.The total incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was 5.88%(3/51),and no liver or kidney function damage or other adverse reactions were observed during the study.Conclusion Danlu capsule combined with Huangkui capsule is an effec-tive treatment option to reduce the recurrence rate of GLM.
