Effects of Jianpi Wenzhong Yiqi Formula combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on postoperative gastrointestinal function and gastrointestinal hormone levels in patients with colorectal cancer
Objective To investigate the effects of Jianpi Wenzhong Yiqi Formula combined with acupuncture and moxi-bustion on postoperative gastrointestinal function and gastrointestinal hormone levels in patients with colorectal cancer(CC).Methods A total of 102 CC patients were assinged into treatment group(n=51)and control group(n=51)using the random number table.All patients were treated with routine Western medicine,and those in the treatment group were additionally treated with Jianpi Wenzhong Yiqi Formula combined with acupuncture and moxibustion.Treated for 30 days,the changes in gastrointes-tinal function,gastrointestinal hormones level,immune function and adverse reactions of the two groups were including as compa-rators.Results After treatment,the recovery time of first exhaust and defecation,grade bowel sounds in the treatment group was significantly less than that of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of motilin and gastrin in the both groups were signifi-cantly decreased than those before treatment(P<0.05),and which were more pronounced in the treatment group(P<0.05).Significantly lower CD8+,and significantly higher CD4+and CD3+were detected in both groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was surperior to the control group for the levels of CD8+,and CD4+,CD3+(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in both groups were similar(P>0.05).Conclusion Jianpi Wenzhong Yiqi Formula combined with acupuncture and moxibustion can improve postoperative gastrointestinal function and gastrointestinal hormone levels in CC patients,which is capa-ble enhancing immune function,moreover,it has high safety and good overall effect.
