Clinical effect of the management mode of integrative medicine on young hypertensive patients with sleep disorders
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of the management mode of integrative medicine on young hyperten-sive patients with sleep disorders. Methods This was a clinical controlled study.Eighty young hypertensive patients with sleep disorders treated in our hospital were assigned to control group(n=40,routine Western medicine)or observation group(n=40,integrative medicine)by touching random ball method. The aim was to compare Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),blood pressure control effect, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score, and satisfaction between groups before and after the intervention. Results After intervention, the PSQI scores, systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)in both groups were significantly lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),which were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,TCM symptom(vertigo, headache, irritability, five center heat)scores in groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),which decreased notably in the observation group compared with the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate in the control group was significantly lower than that of the observation group(85.00%vs 100.00%,P<0.05).Conclusion The management mode of integrative medicine can further improve blood pres-sure control and sleep quality, improve TCM symptoms in young hypertensive patients with sleep disorders,it has a high satisfac-tion.
