Objective To explore the mechanism of Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Formula in the treatment of coronary heart dis-ease by network pharmacology.Methods The components and targets of Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Formula were screened by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology(TCMSP)platform and the Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular mech-ANism of Traditional Chinese Medicine(BATMAN-TCM).The targets of coronary heart disease were searched in online data-bases.The common targets of Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Formula and coronary heart disease were obtained by plotting a Venn diagram,followed by an interaction analysis of compound-disease network was conducted by the STRING database.David database was used for gene ontology(GO)analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis.Fi-nally,Cytoscape 3.82 was used to construct a drug-component-target-pathway-disease network.Results A total of 154 active ingredients and 71 targets of Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Formula were screened.The main active compounds included naringe-nin,quercetin,nobiletin and kaempferol,which were enriched in the regulation of lipids and atherosclerosis,Interleukin(IL)-17 signaling pathway,cell apoptosis,and fluid shear stress,and thus exerted the role in treating coronary heart disease.Conclu-sion Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Formula treats coronary heart disease in a multi-component,multi-target and multi-pathway mechanism.Our findings provide a theoretical basis for the basic or clinical research for Yiqi Huatan Huoxue Formula.
