Research on the modern medical connotation and mechanism of medication rules based on the Ascending Yang Theory of Li Dongyuan using machine algorithms
Li Dongyuan is an extraordinary traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)expert in the Yanzhao area,represen-ting a medical master during the development of TCM.Ascending Yang is one of the essences of the theory proposed by Li Dongyuan,posing a profound influence on the later generations.Experiences in medications and prescriptions by Li Dongyuan have offered outstanding practical values,although the modern scientific mechanism is not clear.We analyzed the Ascending Yang Theory and his medication rules of the ShengyangYiwei Decoction,ShengyangSanhuo Decoction,ShengyangYiqi Decoction,and ShengyangBuqi Decoction recorded in the Theory of Differentiating Internal and External Injuries via bibliometrics,data min-ing,and network pharmacology.This article greatly enriched the modern biological connotation of the Ascending Yang Theory of Li Dongyuan.
