Effect of Xinzhi Qutong capsule on cerebral blood flow velocity and vascular endothelial function in migraine patients
Objective To analyze the effect of Xinzhi Qutong capsule on cerebral blood flow velocity(CBFV)and vascular endothelial function(VEF)in migraine patients. Methods Eighty migraine patients from May 2021 to September 2022 were randomly divided into treatment group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases)according to the order of admission,in which they were given Xinzhi Qutong capsule and Zhengtian Pills, respectively.Treated for 10 days, the aim was to compare migraine symptom score, blood flow velocity(BFV)of anterior cerebral artery(ACA),middle cerebral artery(MCA),posterior cerebral artery(PCA),VEF(endothelin[ET],nitric oxide[NO],and 5-hydroxytryptamine[5-HT]).The clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were assessed. Results The overall effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(97.5%[39/40]vs 80.0%[32/40],P<0.05).The migraine symptom scores on days 3,7,10 of treatment in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),which decreased notably in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,BFV of ACA,MCA,PCA in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the decrease in the treatment group was more prevalent compared with the control group(P<0.05).ET,NO,5-HT in the both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the decrease in the treatment group was more common than the control group(P<0.05).None of the incidence of adverse reactions differed significantly between groups(χ2=0.125,P>0.05).Conclusion Xinzhi Qutong capsule in migraine patients can significantly improve the treatment effect, improve the patient's symptoms,BFV,and VEF,and with a certain medication safety.
