Clinical study on Qishen Huanwu Capsules combined with dopamine hydrazine in treatment of Parkinson's Disease of qi deficiency and blood stasis type and its effect on serum cystatin C and homocysteine
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Qishen Huanwu Capsules combined with dopamine hydrazine in treatment of Parkinson's Disease(PD)with qi deficiency and blood stasis.Methods Ninety patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type of PD were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 45 cases in each group.Control group was treated with conventional therapy and dopamine hydrazine,while observation group was treated with Qishen Huanwu Capsules on the basis of control group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups,including the scores of Parkinson's Comprehensive Rating Scale(UPDRS),the scores of the main symptoms of TCM and ability of daily living(ADL),and the levels of serum cystatin C(Cysc)and homocysteine(Hcy)were compared.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P＜0.05);the UPDRS and TCM main symptom scores of both groups were lower than before treatment,and were lower in observation group than control group(P＜0.05);the ADL scores of both groups were higher than before treatment,and were higher in observation group than control group(P＜0.05);the levels of CysC and Hcy in both groups were lower than before treatment,and were lower in observation group than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Qishen Huanwu Capsules combined with dopamine hydrazine is effective in treatment of qi deficiency and blood stasis type PD,effectively blocking the progression of the disease,improving the main clinical TCM symptoms,improving patients'daily living ability,and down-regulating the contents of CysC and Hcy.
