Changes of inflammatory factors in patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture undergoing treatment with Qishen Buqi Huoxue Quyu Decoction com-bined with TCM acupoint application after operation
Objective To observe the clinical effects of Qishen Buqi Huoxue Quyu Decoction combined with TCM acupoint application on changes of inflammatory factors in patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture after operation.Methods Ninety patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture were randomly divided into the control group and the combination group with 45 cases in each group.After operation,control group was given conventional treatment and intervention,combination group was treated with Qishen Buqi Huoxue Quyu Decoction combined with TCM acupoint application on the basis of control group.The changes in the levels of inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-10],vascular endothelial factors[nitric oxide(NO)and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)],fracture healing,and pain degree were compared between the two groups.The incidence rates of postoperative affected limb swelling and thrombosis were calculated.Results After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 decreased in both groups,and the levels of NO and eNOS increased(P<0.05),the above indexes were better in combination group than control group after treatment(P<0.05);fracture healing score of combination group was significantly higher than that of control group,and pain score was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05);the incidence of postoperative affected limbs swelling in combination group was sig-nificantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the incidence of deep venous thrombosis between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Qishen Buqi Huoxue Quyu Decoction combined with TCM acupoint application for treating femoral intertrochanteric fracture can relieve postoperative inflammatory response and promote up-regulation of vascular endothelial factors,accelerating fracture healing.In addition,the combined treatment can relieve pain and prevent postoperative affected limb swelling.
