Study on the quality differences of Kadsura coccinea in different habitats, different parts and different diameters
Objective To investigate the difference of quality of Kadsura coccinea in different habitats, different parts and different diameters. Methods The fingerprints of 14 batches of Kadsura coccinea in different habitats, different parts and different diameters were determined by UPLC method, and combined with similarity evaluation,one-way ANOVA,cluster analysis, and grey correlation analysis, multivariate statistical analysis was conducted on the fingerprint of Kadsura coccinea. Results Eight common peaks were identified in the samples of Kadsura coccinea in different habitats, different parts and different diameters, and the peak 5 was identified as 8-gingerol.The similarity between the fingerprint of Kadsura coccinea in different habitats, different parts and different diameters was relatively low.The unit peak area of common peaks between different batches of Kadsura coccinea and the xylem and skin fluctuated greatly, and there was a significant difference in the unit peak area of common peaks between Kadsura coccinea of different diameters. The clustering analysis results showed that there was no obvious clustering phenomenon of origin classification for different batches of Kadsura coccinea;the grey correlation analysis results showed that the comprehensive evaluation value range of grey correlation degree for different batches of Kadsura coccinea was 0.066~0.094,and the difference range of grey correlation degree was 0~29.79%.Conclusion There is a significant difference in the internal quality of Kadsura coccinea circulating in the market. The UPLC fingerprint detection method established in this study has good repeatability and stability, which can provide reference for the quality evaluation of Kadsura coccinea.
