Lumbar back myofascitis belongs to"meridian tendon disease",this paper reviewed the ancient and modern studies on the theory of meridian sinew theory introduceing the modern theory of myofascial chain and the theory of biomechanics to expound the guiding role of meridian sinew theory in the treatment of lumbar back myofascitis by needle knife.The lesion hierarchy of lumbar back myofascitis should be based on meridian tendon,where the disease is"tendon node",and the method is"untie the knot".Under the guidance of meridian sinew theory,follow the fixed point principle of"consolidating muscles when they involved in disorders"and"using painful sites as acupoints to treat diseases",and combine the holistic view of meridian sinew theory to"select the points along the affected meridian sinew".A multi-dimensional treatment structure can be formed from the point to the surface,with a view to further breaking through the limitations of needle knife in the treatment of lumbar back myofascitis,and opening up new ideas for clinical treatment.
