bthreshold depression(SD)is a new subtype of depressive disorder,which belongs to the category of"depression syndrome"in traditional Chinese medicine.It originates from emotional disorder,resulting in the disorder of qi,and its essence is the disorder of zangfu.The pathogenesis is closely related to the imbalance of liver qi,which affects the function of heart and brain.Acupuncture treatment of SD is based on the theory of"preventive treatment for disease".The advantages of the theory of"the same regulation of body and spirit"fit the characteristics of physical and mental diseases.Therefore,the author expounded the clinical advantages of acupuncture for SD,which is the"desire disease"of"depression disease"from the perspective of acupuncture for regulating the mind,facilitating qi first,nourishing zangfu,regulating the body and preventing diseases.
