Discussion on application and values of TCM thought on epidemic prevention integrating in modern epidemic prevention and control system
TCM reserves life memory of Chinese nation,which acts as guard and witness for prosperity of Chinese nation as well as indispensible soldier in history of epidemic prevention.TCM thought on epidemic prevention has experienced from passive dodging plague to active preventing plague,which has formed a set of unique theoretical system and has accumulated abundant of clinical experiences.The global epidemic infectious diseases still exist,which make whole world face significantly challenge for the public health security.This article starts with elaboration of historical evolution of thought on epidemic prevention in TCM,refines measures of TCM epidemic prevention in successive dynasties,and then discusses TCM scientific thought from aspects of quarantine,prevention of disease,patriotic sanitation campaign,epidemic prevention of Chinese medicine,and artificial immunity,which play active roles in front of modern plague,and fully affirms the applied values of TCM epidemic prevention.It will further think about the development route of TCM,which forms the composition of force characterized by transmission of TCM and technological innovation,and explore the wider prospect for application and promotion of TCM.
