Objective To observe the effect of Yimucao Granules combined with oxytocin on postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section due to uterine inertia.Methods A total of 150 patients with postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section due to uterine inertia were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 75 cases each.Control group was treated with oxytocin,while observation group was treated with Yimucao Granules on the basis of control group.The clinical efficacy,intraoperative and postoperative 24 h bleeding volume,lochia days,uterine floor height from 1st to 3rd postpartum,hemoglobin(Hb)levels and red blood cell(RBC)were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the good rate of uterine involution in observation group was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in intraoperative bleeding between the two groups(P＞0.05);the postoperative 24 h bleeding volume and lochia days,the height of the uterine floor height from the 1st to 3rd day postpartum in observation group were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05);the Hb and RBC of both groups were lower than before treatment,and were higher in observation group than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yimucao Granules combined with oxytocin can promote uterine contraction in postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section due to uterine inertia.
