Clinical study of HuangFu Jiang sticking therapy in treatment of knee osteoarthritis of cold and wet syndrome
Objective To observe the clinical effect of HuangFuJiang sticking therapy in treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods A total of 120 patients with KO A were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 60 cases each.Control group was treated with loxoprofen tablets,and observation group was treated with HuangFuJiang sticking therapy on the basis of control group.The clinical effects,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index score(WOMAC),knee cryogenic zone diameter of infrared thermography,serum interleukin-1β(IL-1β),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than control group(P＜0.05);the VAS and WOMAC scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and were lower in observation group than control group(P＜0.05);the knee cryogenic zone diameter of infrared thermography and the levels of IL-1 β and TNF-α in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and were lower in observation group than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion HuangFuJiang sticking therapy can relieve clinical symptoms,reduce VAS,WOMAC scores,reduce the diameter of the cryogenic zone of infrared thermography,lower the levels of IL-1 β and TNF-α,and promote the functional recovery of KOA.
